Abstract:
The present application provides a data compression method, a communication apparatus, and a communication system. The method comprises: a terminal device determining compression information according to indication information and first data, the indication information comprising the types of a plurality of first areas in a target space, the target space being determined according to space boundaries, and the first data being data in the target space; and sending the compression information. The terminal device can compress the first data in the plurality of first areas to varying degrees according to the indication information, instead of setting a uniform compression degree for the first data in the entire target space. Such a targeted data compression method can improve the effectiveness of compressed and transmitted data and improve the communication efficiency.
