Abstract:
Disclosed by the aspects of the present invention are a data processing method and device and a terminal device, comprising: a mobility management device receiving uplink data sent from a terminal device by means of a non-access stratum (NAS) message and determining whether the mobility management device is overloaded according to the processing capability of the mobility management device; when the mobility management device is overloaded, the mobility management device notifying the terminal device to transmit the uplink data by means of a user plane. The described data processing method and device may improve communication quality, especially in that, when a load between the mobility management device and a service device is not established, it is not necessary to first establish the load and then release the load, thus saving signaling and resources.
