Abstract:
In a decoding method according to the present invention, by which a first three-dimensional point having position information including a distance component, a first-direction component, and a second-direction component is decoded, a second value of a first-direction component of an inter-prediction point is determined by using a first value of a first-direction component of a decoded second three-dimensional point and a sampling interval of first-direction components (S301), and the position information of the first three-dimensional point is decoded by using the determined second value of the first-direction component. For example, the second value may be determined by matching a third value of a first-direction component of a third three-dimensional point included in an inter reference frame, which is different from a subject frame including the first three-dimensional point, with a fourth value, which is sampled after the sampling interval from the first value of the first-direction component.
