The present invention relates to a method for depolymerizing a polymer comprising an ester functional group, a catalyst therefore, and a composition and, more particularly, to a method for depolymerizing a polymer comprising an ester functional group by using potassium carbonate (K2CO3) as a polymer depolymerization catalyst and using alcohol and a polar aprotic solvent, and to a composition therefor.
