Abstract:
A design reference value quantification method for a modifier dosage of modified asphalt, relating to the technical field of pavement construction. The method comprises: drawing, on the basis of a change of the degree of unsaturation of a series of modified asphalt along with a modifier dosage determined by potentiometric titration, a curve of the change of the degree of unsaturation of the modified asphalt along with the modifier dosage; further obtaining a point of inflection of the change of the degree of unsaturation of the modified asphalt along with the modifier dosage by means of data fitting analysis; and establishing a reference value of the modifier addition dosage in the technological design of modified asphalt. The method can essentially and directly represent the chemical action mechanism between the modifier and matrix asphalt in the modified asphalt by accurately determining an effect of the modifier dosage on unsaturated bonds of modified asphalt molecules, and can also directly track a process during which the modifier in the modified asphalt transforms from an independent phase into a continuous phase, thus having a positive significance in obtaining high-performance modified asphalt.
