Abstract:
Provided is a desulfurization system for ships, the desulfurization system being provided with a generator provided in a ship separately from a main engine and having a generator engine; an auxiliary boiler generating a working fluid to be fed to materials handling equipment having a steam engine and performing materials handling operations in the ship; and a desulfurization device having a common reaction column connected to exhaust ports of the generator engine and the auxiliary boiler, and performing desulfurization of a first exhaust gas from the generator engine and a second exhaust gas from the auxiliary boiler.
