Description:
Device for gentle dog training FIELD OF THE INVENTION

The invention relates to a device for „gentle“ dressage of dogs, in particular for „on foot" running.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

Dog training, which is not performed consistently from early puppy age, becomes increasingly difficult over the years. In particular this pertains walking on foot, which is counter the hunting instinct and a dog’s natural urge to run.

When training hunting dogs, this obedience is enforced with sometimes brutal methods until the dogs are drilled so far that they are suitable for hunting.

Dog owners who see their dog more as a friend and companion reject these methods, but then are frustrated when their commands or attention do not lead to the desired result - particularly if the dog, with awakening of its hunting drive, pulls on a leash with all his strength and threatens to tear the leader along..

PRIOR ART

There are already a large number of patents and products to prohibit this.

The majority of it relates to classic choke collars or collars with electric stun systems, but are usually manually triggered (at the touch of a button, etc.).

This device for gentle dog training is the first educational aid without the influence of the owner. The train sensor gives dogs a reaction at the right moment in the form of high-frequency tones. A late correction (which can no longer be attributed by the dog) from the owner of the dog does not occur.

Closer to the idea of gentle dressage, there are only two existing patents, namely:

US 2012/0017844 A1 describes a system where a vibration signal is generated in the dog collar. This however is not in response to excessive train on the leash, but depends on the deviation of the dog from the given direction of movement.

The correction is not necessarily recognizable to the dog handler. US 6,047,664 relates to a device in a dog leash which detects the pull on the dog leash and automatically responds. This can be an audible warning sound, a non-lethal, variable volt ¬ age stimulus, an electrical stimulus or a variable voltage vibration. In addition, the release of a substance or a smell that irritates the animal is provided. The device consists of a complex arrangement and requires manual triggering.

TASK OF THE INVENTION

It is therefore the object of the present invention to gently condition dogs so that they refrain from tearing on the leash and remain “by foot” when going out. This must be done automatically and in varying intensity depending on the dog’s pull on the leash.

SOLUTION

This Effect is achieved by inserting a device between the eye on the dog collar and the hook on the dog leash having another hook and eyelet and comprising the following characteristics: a) a traction measuring device between hook and eye, b) one or more signal transmitters, c) a regulator for the threshold of the device, d) a signal processing unit, e) a rechargeable battery, f) charging electronics and g) a watertight closing and shockproof housing.

CLOSER DESCRIPTION ALONG TO THE DRAWING

Fig. 1 shows the device (1) consisting of the housing (2) with a hook (4) and an eyelet (5).

Arranged in the housing are a traction measuring device (3), a traction transmission device (7) between the hook (4) and the traction measuring device (3) and a traction transmission device (6) between the eye (5) and the traction measuring device (3).

Furthermore, a signal generator (8a) for audible noise and a signal generator (8a) for ultrasound are arranged in the housing. In addition, an adjustment device (9) for the response threshold of the device, a signal processing processor (10), an energy store (11), a charging electronics (12), a charging socket (13) and supply and signal lines and seals (not shown).
