Abstract:
A device and method for drying and upgrading brown coal or low metamorphic long-flame coal. A pressure tank (30) in the device is provided with one or more gas inlet pipes (31) that are connected to a heat exchanger (20), the pressure tank (30) is also provided with one or more gas exhaust pipes (32), each gas inlet pipe (31) is provided with a gas inlet valve (50), and each gas exhaust pipe (32) is provided with a gas exhaust valve (60); and sealed pressure-resistant valves (70, 80) are respectively arranged in a feed opening (33) and a discharge opening (34) of the pressure tank (30). Discharging and feeding sealed pressure-resistant valves (70, 80) are sequentially closed and opened, and then materials are loaded; the feeding sealed pressure-resistant valve (70) is closed after material loading ends; the gas inlet valve (50) is opened, the gas inlet valve (50) is closed and the gas exhaust valve (60) is opened when gas pressure in the pressure tank reaches set pressure, then the gas exhaust valve (60) is closed after moisture in the tank is completely removed, and the gas inlet valve (50) is opened again, and the steps are repeated several times until the total moisture of the coal is reduced to meet the requirements. The moisture of the coal that is dried by using the method and the device is significantly reduced, the mechanical hardness and calorific value stability of finished coal are increased, and weathering is reduced; and the device has low energy consumption in the drying process and low equipment construction cost, is environment-friendly, is easy to control, and is easy to achieve mass production.
