Abstract:

An electronic device according to one embodiment comprises: a display module; memory storing computer-executable instructions; and a processor which accesses the memory and executes the instructions. The processor can: scan a target space to identify a plurality of objects that can be registered in relation to the target space; select two or more objects from among the plurality of identified objects in a defined order while specifying characteristic information describing each of the objects; and register a space authentication pattern for the target space on the basis of the order of selection of the two or more selected objects and the characteristic information of the two or more selected objects.
