Abstract:

The present invention provides a device that is for reforming water for dental use and that is compact and lightweight and capable of generating water containing ultrafine bubbles, with consideration for installation in a dental clinic. This device comprises a water supply unit, a dental treatment unit, and a water reforming unit disposed between the water supply unit and the dental treatment unit. The water reforming unit is equipped with: a water inflow part which is connected to a piping part of the water supply unit; an orifice part which reduces the pressure of water supplied from the water inflow part; an orifice-side enlargement part which is connected to the orifice part and which increases the flow channel cross-sectional area; a first gas supply part which is connected to the orifice-side enlargement part and which supplies gas to water flowing into the orifice-side enlargement part; and an air bubble mixing part that is provided with a diameter enlargement section connected to the downstream of the orifice-side enlargement part for enlarging the flow channel cross-sectional area thereof and with a diameter reduction section for reducing the flow channel cross-sectional area of the diameter enlargement section, and that mixes the gas supplied from the first gas supply part and the water flowing in from the orifice-side enlargement part to mix therein air bubbles. The water having passed the air bubble mixing part is supplied to the dental treatment unit.
