Abstract:
Provided is a dialing unit with improved manipulability. The dialing unit comprises: a dialing member 28 which has a shaft 54 and is capable of rotating about the shaft 54; a detection unit 27 which detects the amount of rotation of the dialing member 28; a rotating element which engages with the dialing member 28 and is capable of rotating with the dialing member 28; a first rotation transmission member which is interposed between the dialing member 28 and the rotating element, separates the dialing member 28 and the rotating element until the rotation angle of the dialing member 28 reaches a first predetermined angle, and transmits the rotation of the dialing member 28 to the rotating element when the rotation angle of the dialing member 28 exceeds the first predetermined angle; and an elastic member which has a coil shape on the inside of which the rotating element is positioned, and is capable of applying a rotational force to the rotating element when the rotating element is rotating, said rotational force being in a direction opposite the rotation direction of the rotating element.
