Abstract:
Disclosed in the present invention is a direct drive spindle having a rear motor, comprising a spindle casing, a mandrel rotatably provided in the spindle casing, a bearing, and a torque motor. The bearing comprises a first bearing and a second bearing which are used for realizing radial and axial support for the mandrel; the first bearing and the second bearing are both provided in the spindle casing; one end of the mandrel extends to the outside of the spindle casing; the torque motor and the spindle casing are arranged in an axial direction; the torque motor comprises a rotor and a stator; the end part of the mandrel located outside the spindle casing is connected to an end part of the rotor by insertion; the rotor is fixedly connected to the mandrel. According to the direct drive spindle having a rear motor disclosed by the present invention, by disposing the motor at a rear position, the motor of the spindle is completely exposed outside, so that the motor is far away from the mandrel, the heat dissipation performance is improved, and the thermal elongation of the spindle is reduced.
