Abstract:
A real image projection system for making a real image of an object appear or disappear. The real image projection system (8) includes first and second polarizers (10, 20) to control the appearance and the disappearance of the real image of the object (25) to an observer. By changing the relative angular relationship between the transmissive axis (15) of the first polarizer (10) and the transmissive axis (32) of the second polarizer, a real image of the object appears and disappears.
