Provided is a disc drive device which can simply supply an electronic functional section with power at low cost. At the periphery of a hole on a disc, a plurality of thin film first conductive sections (113) connected to the electronic functional section are arranged. A protruding section (21A) of a turntable is provided with press-contact members (3A-3C) which are brought into press-contact with the first conductive sections (113) to be electrically connected when a disc is rotated and driven. First and/or second photoelectric conversion means (4A, 4B) electrically connected to the press-contact members is arranged on the rotating shaft peripheral section (21A) and the other end section (21B). Third and fourth photoelectric conversion means (5A, 5B) are arranged at positions which face the first and second photoelectric conversion means by being physically separated from the turntable (20). Signals are transmitted and received between the electronic functional section and a disc drive device side, through the first and second conductive sections and the first to the fourth photoelectric conversion means. An electronic functional section of a rotating section is supplied with power from a battery (6) through the press-contact members (3A-3C) and the first conductive section (113).
