Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to minimize the degradation of image quality due to crosstalk in a liquid crystal display device capable of a three-dimensional display. A prescribed number of pixels having the same gradation value (for example, pixels of two rows and two columns) are divided into pixels (first pixel group) having the same gradation value after correction between a left-eye image and a right-eye image, and pixels (second pixel group) having different gradation values after correction between a left-eye image and a right-eye image. For example, the average value between the gradation value of the left-eye image before correction and the gradation value of the right-eye image before correction is set to be the gradation value of the first pixel group after correction. The gradation value of the second pixel group after correction is determined such that the average value of the gradation values in each group constituted by the prescribed number of pixels is not changed between before and after correction for the left-eye image and the right-eye image.
