Abstract:
Provided is a display device capable of suppressing a decrease in color purity. This display device comprises: a plurality of first electrodes arranged two-dimensionally; a second electrode provided to face first surfaces of the plurality of first electrodes; an electroluminescence layer provided between the plurality of first electrodes and the second electrode; an insulation layer provided between adjacent first electrodes; and a plurality of reflection plates respectively provided to face second surfaces of the plurality of first electrodes. A plurality of resonator structures that resonate light emitted from the electroluminescence layer are composed of the second electrode and the plurality of reflection plates. The insulation layer has a plurality of openings, and each opening is provided on the first surface of the first electrode. The reflection plate has a facing surface that faces the electroluminescence layer with the first electrode interposed therebetween. When a region corresponding to the opening in plan view is defined as a first region, and a region corresponding to a peripheral edge portion of the opening in plan view is defined as a second region, a reflectance R1 of the facing surface in the first region and a reflectance R2 of the facing surface in the second region satisfy a relation of R2
