A display device and a display method. The display device comprises a display screen (20). The display screen (20) comprises a first display region (201) and a second display region (202). If a master control system receives a specific signal from a drive recognition module, the first display region (201) is in a non-display state; and if the master control system does not receive a specific signal from the drive recognition module, the first display region (201) is in a display state.
