Abstract:
A liquid crystal display device 10 comprises: a display region AA that displays an image; a non-display region NAA that surrounds the display region AA; drive electrodes 15 serving as position detecting electrodes that are disposed in the display region AA and form an electrostatic capacitance with a finger serving as a position inputting body for inputting a position, and that detect a position of input made by the finger serving as a position inputting body; a drive electrode connection part 21 that is disposed in a portion of the non-display region NAA and that is connected to the drive electrodes 15 serving as position detecting electrodes; pixel electrodes 11g that are disposed in the display region AA; a common electrode 11h that is disposed so as to at least partially overlap the pixel electrodes 11g in the display region AA; and a common electrode connection part 23 that is disposed so as to not overlap the drive electrode connection part 21 in the portion of the non-display region NAA, and that is connected to the common electrode 11h.
