Description:
DOOR ANTI-CLOSING SYSTEM

Technical Area

The invention relates to an anti-closing system for automatic door systems of passenger transport vehicles, in particular buses, minibuses and midibuses, for land, sea or rail passenger transport.

In particular, the invention relates to a door anti-closing system for preventing passengers from being trapped between automatic doors in passenger-carrying vehicles.

State of the Art

In passenger transportation vehicles such as buses, minibuses and midibuses, automatic doors controlled by the driver are used for passenger boarding and alighting. These automatic doors are opened and closed by means of a pneumatic system controlled from the section where the driver is located.

In the current state of the art, in passenger transport vehicles, passengers can be trapped and injured by being trapped between the automatic door due to the driver closing the automatic door while getting on or off the vehicle. If a passenger is trapped between the doors, the driver must realize this situation and open the door again. In current embodiments, systems adapted to pneumatic systems that open and close the automatic door are used to eliminate this situation. The working principle of these systems is based on the reference to the compression force between the door. In these systems, the door opens itself after the passenger or an object trapped between the door is subjected to a certain compression force. Therefore, when an adult or a child trapped between the door is exposed to the squeezing force with the closing force applied by the door and this squeezing force reaches a certain value, the system detects this situation and the door opens. Therefore, the mentioned system cannot prevent passengers from getting stuck between the doors. Therefore, in the state of the art, there is a need for a system that prevents passengers from being trapped between automatic doors in passenger transportation vehicles.

An example of the state of the art in the literature is the document numbered TR2003/01365. The aforementioned document relates to a system that opens the doors of vehicles such as buses and minibuses during the closing of the doors, in order to prevent damage to the trapped person. In the invention in question, a system for reducing the time of jamming between the doors is mentioned. Therefore, with the system in question, passenger entrapment between automatic doors cannot be prevented.

As a result, the existence of the above problems and the inadequacy of existing solutions necessitated a development in the relevant technical field.

Purpose of Invention

The present invention relates to a door anti-closing system which eliminates the above- mentioned disadvantages and brings new advantages to the relevant technical field.

The main object of the invention is to provide a door anti-closing system that prevents passenger entrapment between automatic doors in passenger-carrying vehicles.

The object of the invention is to provide an anti-closing system that prevents the automatic door from closing in the event of a weight over a certain ratio in the critical zone defined in front of the automatic door.

Another object of the invention is to provide a door anti-closing system that eliminates the problem of passengers or objects getting stuck between the automatic door in passenger transportation vehicles and the problem of opening the door after the jam occurs.

In order to fulfill all the aforementioned and all the purposes that may arise from the above-mentioned and detailed description, the invention is a door closing prevention system used in land, sea or railway passenger transport vehicles, in particular in passenger transport vehicles such as buses, minibuses and midibuses, in automatic doors that are opened and closed by means of an automatic door drive system driven by means of a door opening and closing button controlled by the driver, comprising:

- a critical area located on the floor in front of the automatic door;

- at least one weight sensor measuring the load on the critical area; and

- the electronic circuit connected to the weight sensor and the door open/close button, which prevents the automatic door from closing by deactivating the door open/close button if the load amount measured by the weight sensor exceeds the predefined load amount. The structural and characteristic features of the invention and all its advantages will be more clearly understood by means of the figures given below and the detailed description written with references to these figures. Therefore, the evaluation should be made by taking these figures and the detailed description into consideration.

Detailed Description of the Invention

In this detailed description, preferred alternatives to the inventive door anti-closing system are described solely for the purpose of a better understanding of the subject matter and without any limiting effect.

Figure 1 shows a schematic view of the door anti-closing system subject to the invention. Accordingly, the door anti-closing system is in its most basic form; an automatic door (10) in a passenger transport vehicle where passengers get on and off the vehicle, an automatic door drive system (20) that enables the automatic door (10) to be opened and closed by means of a door opening and closing button (30) controlled by the driver, a pressure area (40) with a critical area on the floor in front of the automatic door (10), weight sensor (50) that measures the load on the pressure area (40), electronic circuit (60) that prevents the automatic door (10) from closing by deactivating the door opening and closing button (30) if the amount of load measured by the weight sensor (50) exceeds the predefined load amount.

The inventive door anti-closing system is used in the automatic doors (10) of passenger transport vehicles, in particular buses, minibuses and midibuses, for land, sea or rail passenger transport. Said automatic door (10) is opened and closed by means of an automatic door drive system (20), preferably a pneumatic system. In order to open and close the automatic door (10), the automatic door drive system (20) is actuated by means of a door opening and closing button (30) controlled by the driver.

As shown in Figure 2, there is a pressure area (40) on the floor in front of the automatic door (10). The pressure area (40) in question is made of a soft material and has weight sensors (50) on its lower surface. As it is made of soft material, the landing area (40) easily transmits the load placed on it to the weight sensors (50).

Weight sensors (50) located on the lower surface of the discharge area (40) measure the load on the discharge area (40). By means of an electronic circuit (60) connected to the weight sensors (50) and the door opening and closing button (30), if the load amount measured by the weight sensors (50) exceeds the predefined load amount, the automatic door (10) is prevented from closing by deactivating the door opening and closing button (30). This prevents passengers or objects from getting stuck between the automatic door (10).

The working principle of the door anti-closing system subject to the invention is as follows;

In the event that there are passengers on the pressure area (40) in front of the automatic door (10), the load on the so-called critical area (40) is measured by means of weight sensors (50) and if the measured load amount is more than the predefined load amount, the door opening and closing button (30) is deactivated by means of electronic circuit (60) and the automatic door (10) is prevented from closing. In this way, even if the driver tries to close the automatic door (10) by pressing the door open/close button (30), the automatic door (10) will not close and no passenger or object can get stuck between the automatic door (10).
