Abstract:
A door mirror (14) enabling an increase in workability for mounting and fitted to the door panel (12) of a vehicle body. The door mirror (14) comprises a mirror face part (22), an external body (24) storably holding the mirror face part (22), and a mounting base (26) supporting the external body (24). The door panel (12) comprises a round hole (30) for positioning the mounting base (26). The mounting base (26) comprises a crossed projection (32) formed in a crossed shape in axially vertical cross section, having the diameter of the cross section approximately equal to the diameter of the round hole (30), and inserted into the round hole (30) in the door panel (12). The crossed projection (32) comprises a groove part extending in a roughly vertical direction to the axial direction formed in one side face of four side faces enveloping the four end parts of the crossed shape along the axial direction. When the crossed projection (32) is inserted into the round hole (30), the groove part stores a part of the inner wall of the round hole (30), and the door mirror (14) can be temporarily fixed to the door panel (12).
