Abstract:
Provided is a drive chain replacement jig (30) that is used when replacing a drive chain (18) wound around a main sprocket (22) of an elevator (10), and that comprises an insertion tool (40) which is inserted between the main sprocket (22) and the drive chain (18) and which causes the drive chain (18) to be lifted from the main sprocket (22). The insertion tool (40) has a plurality of straight pieces (41) that are connected, adjacent straight pieces (41) are configured in an arc shape along the periphery of the main sprocket (22) by forming a prescribed angle with one another, the length of the straight pieces (41) spans the plurality of teeth of the main sprocket (22), and the straight pieces (41) have an upper side recess (42) which is provided on the upper surface side and which is where the drive chain (18) can slide, and a lower side recess (43) which is provided on the bottom surface side and which is where the teeth of the main sprocket (22) can slide.
