Abstract:

[Problem] To provide a drive device for an electric truck which improves driving feel and has steering capability at steering angles of 0º-180º. [Solution] A drive device including a drive unit housing 15 arranged on each of the left and right sides of an electric truck, a suspension section 20, a steering gear section 30, a pair of hinges 40, and a pair of vehicle body connector sections 32, 33. A motor 11, a reduction gear 12, and a final gear 14 are housed together in the drive unit housing 15. The suspension section 20 is provided above the final gear within the drive unit housing 15, and the steering gear section 30 is provided above the suspension section 20 and is configured so as to be capable of steering a drive wheel 2A. The hinges 40 are provided to each of the front and rear of the steering gear section 30, and the vehicle body connector sections 32, 33 connect the steering gear section 30 and the vehicle body via the pair of hinge sections 40.
