A drive system is provided with a first AC rotating electric machine (20) and a second AC rotating electric machine (30). The drive system is further provided with: a first inverter (51) electrically connected to the first AC rotating electric machine; a second inverter (52) electrically connected to a first end side of both ends of each of phase windings (30U, 30V, 30W) constituting the second AC rotating electric machine; a boost converter (50); and a third inverter (53) electrically connected to a second end side of both ends of each of the phase windings and driving the second AC rotating electric machine by transferring power between the third inverter and a second DC power supply (61) different from a first DC power supply (60, 60a). The boost converter boosts the output voltage of the first DC power supply and outputs the boosted voltage to the respective first and second inverters. The drive system is configured so that the second DC power supply and the first AC rotating electric machine are connected to each other by a single connection route.
