Abstract:
An ejector mechanism which is simple in structure and can be fabricated and assembled easily. The ball screw/spline shaft (10) of this ejector mechanism includes a spline portion (11) which is fitted to a ball spline nut fixed to the movable platen (1) of the injection molding machine and a ball screw portion (12) which meshes with a ball nut (30) supported rotatably by a casing (40) fixed to the movable platen. The ball nut is interconnected to a motor through timing belt pulleys (52, 53) fixed to the ball nut and to the output shaft of the motor (51), respectively, and through a timing belt (54) passed around the both pulleys. When the ball nut rotates with the revolution of the motor, the spline portion moves forth integrally with the ball screw portion and the product is pushed forth by the tip of the spline portion which functions as a production pushing portion.
