Abstract:
An electric braking device 40 comprises an actuator 80 that, in a case in which an electric motor 50 rotates in a second rotational direction R2 due to a piston 72 moving in a second direction D2 which is the direction in which braking force decreases due to an external force, is driven to inhibit the piston 72 from moving in the second direction D2 by using electric power generated by the electric motor 50 as the electric motor 50 rotates in the second rotational direction R2.
