Abstract:
The present invention relates to the technical field of electric drive axle assemblies, and specifically provides an electric drive axle assembly for an automobile, and an automobile. The present invention aims to solve at least one of the following problems in the existing electric drive axle assemblies for automobiles: the output torque is relatively small; as torque increases, the difficulty in development is greatly increased; the service life of gears and bearings is shortened; the strength of casings is reduced; the size of the electric drive axle assemblies is excessively large; and the design of frame suspension is difficult. To achieve this objective, the electric drive axle assembly of the present invention comprises a first electric motor and a second electric motor. The first electric motor and the second electric motor are arranged side by side in the middle of the electric drive axle assembly along the X axis, and output shafts of the first electric motor and the second electric motor are parallel to the Y axis, such that the Y-direction layout is optimized, thereby solving the problem of excessively large size of the existing electric drive axle assemblies, and further facilitating the installation of the electric drive axle assembly on a chassis of the automobile frame.
