Abstract:
The invention relates to an electric battery module comprising a housing (2, 12) in which a plurality of cells (1, 29, 59, 70, 229) are arranged so as to exchange heat directly with a dielectric coolant (5) circulating between gaps formed between adjacent cells (1, 29, 59, 70, 229), characterized in that the housing (2, 12) has: - an intermediate space (150) in which the adjacent cells (1, 29, 59, 70, 229) are arranged and between which the dielectric liquid (5) flows; - a lower space (65, 73, 130, 230) which is located below the intermediate space (150) and is supplied via at least one inlet port (3, 14, 46) for dielectric liquid (5); - an upper space (66, 75, 140, 231) which is located above the intermediate space (150) and is open to the exterior of the housing via at least one outlet port (4, 15, 47) for dielectric liquid (5); - and in that a bucket-shaped hydraulic duct (22, 50) collects the dielectric liquid (5) from the upper space (66, 75, 140, 231) in the vicinity of the upper inner face of the enclosure (12, 42) in order to guide it to the outlet port (4, 15, 47) or in order to guide it to a pressure relief valve (18, 48, 218) so as to define a level of dielectric liquid (5) in the upper space (66, 75, 140, 231) that is as high as possible in the module (10) when the valve is open.
