Abstract:
The detection signals of odd-numbered phases outputted by a phase current detecting sensor
of a multiphase motor are sequentially digital converted to phase current data
at intervals Δtp. A digital conversion midway in the order of those conversions
is used as a reference time point. The magnetic pole position θ of the phase
current data of a phase advancing, in digital conversion, from the reference
time point is corrected to a value obtained by adding the advancing amount to that
magnetic pole position. The magnetic pole position θ of the phase current
data of a phase delaying from the reference time point is corrected to a value obtained
by subtracting the delaying amount from that magnetic pole position. These corrected
values are then subjected to a fixed/rotating coordinate conversion. Alternatively,
the detection signals of even-numbered phases outputted by the current sensor
are sequentially digital converted. A digital conversion immediately following
the center point in the order of those conversions is used as a reference time point.
The magnetic pole position θ of the phase current data of a phase advancing,
in digital conversion, as compared to the digital conversion immediately before
that center point is corrected to a value obtained by adding the advancing amount
to that magnetic pole position. The magnetic pole position θ of the phase
current data of a phase delaying as compared to the digital conversion immediately
before that center point is corrected to a value obtained by subtracting the delaying
amount from that magnetic pole position. These corrected values are then subjected
to a fixed/rotating coordinate conversion.
