Abstract:
Provided is a technology relating to an electrically heated type lighter suitable to cause ignition of a carbon heat source in a carbon heat source type flavor inhalation tool. An electrically heated type lighter (1) is for a carbon heat source type flavor inhalation tool (5) provided with a cylindrical holder (8) that contains a flavor generation source (7), and a carbon heat source (6) that is provided to an end part in the axial direction of the holder. The electrically heated type lighter is provided with an electric heater (4) for causing ignition of a carbon heat source. The electric heater includes: a bottom surface heating part (41) for heating a leading end surface (62A) of the carbon heat source; and a side surface heating part (42) for heating a side surface (63A) of the carbon heat source.
