Abstract:
Disclosed is a chargeable/dischargeable electrochemical device which comprises two or more electrode bodies so arranged as to form a pair and respectively having a conductor and a collector layer formed on the conductor. The electrochemical device further comprises a separator and an electrolyte solution arranged between the collector layers of the electrode bodies forming a pair. The collector layers are composed of powder particles containing at least one or more substances selected from niobium, niobium oxide, niobium dioxide, niobium pentoxide and niobium compounds, porous particles, carbon particles and a binder.
