Abstract:
The present invention comprises a working electrode, a counter electrode, and a substrate supporting the working electrode and the counter electrode. The working electrode is a chip-shaped electrode having a diamond film that induces an oxidation-reduction reaction in a surface when a prescribed voltage is applied in a state in which a test sample is present between the working electrode and the counter electrode, and a support body that is formed from a different material than diamond and that supports the diamond film. The support body is positioned on the substrate side, and is attached to the substrate in a state in which at least part of the side surface of the support body is exposed.
