Abstract:
This electrode catalyst is provided with: a porous silicon oxycarbide composite material containing a porous silicon oxycarbide that has a three-dimensional framework structure and a carbon-containing material that is retained in the three-dimensional framework structure; and noble metal particles supported on the porous silicon oxycarbide composite material. The BET specific surface area is 100 m2/g or higher, and the conductivity is 1.0 ×10-6S/cm.
