Abstract:
Provided is an electromagnetic contactor which is more compact and has decreased height of a contact device while suppressing the electromagnetic repulsive force generated between a movable contact point and a fixed contact point. This electromagnetic contactor is provided with a contact device (100) which has a pair of fixed contactors (111, 112) arranged maintaining a prescribed distance and a movable contactor (130) arranged so as to be able to freely contact and separate from said pair of fixed contactors, and with an electromagnet unit (200) having a movable plunger (215) that can move the movable contactor of the contact device. Also provided are an airtight chamber (240) which encloses the pair of fixed contactors, the movable contactor, and the movable plunger, an outer container (101A, 101B) which covers the airtight chamber and the electromagnet unit, and a sound insulation resin layer (150) which is injected and cured between the airtight chamber and the outer container.
