Abstract:
The present invention provides an electronic component which is capable of reducing the occurrence of disconnection of wiring due to a sulfurizing gas, while being also capable of suppressing the generation of a sulfide. An electronic component 10 is provided with: a substrate 1; an element part 2 that is formed on the substrate 1; a lead-out electrode 3 that is connected to the element part 2; an insulating protective layer 13; an intermediate electrode 9; and an external electrode 14 that covers the intermediate electrode 9. The insulating protective layer 13 covers the element part 2 and a part of the lead-out electrode 3. The intermediate electrode 9 covers a part of the insulating protective layer 13 and a part of the surface of the lead-out electrode 3, the part of the surface being not covered by the insulating protective layer 13. The intermediate electrode 9 contains conductive particles and a resin component. The conductive particles include fibrous conductive particles and flake-like conductive particles.
