Abstract:
This electronic device can switch between supplying and cutting off an AC power source with a switch external to the device, and is provided with a determination unit which determines whether or not the AC power source is supplying power, a detection unit which detects the conduction state of the switch, a second power source which is different from the alternating power source, an output unit, and a control unit. On the basis of the output of the detection unit and the determination unit, the control unit, at the least, either cuts off the power supplied to the output unit, supplies said power from the AC power source, or supplies the same from the second power source.
