Abstract:
An electronic paper display device and a driving method therefor. The electronic paper display device comprises a first base substrate (1), and a plurality of sub-pixels (2) arranged in an array on one side of the first base substrate (1). Each of the plurality of sub-pixels (2) comprises: a first electrode (3) located on one side of the first base substrate (1); a second electrode (4) located on the side of the first electrode (3) away from the first base substrate (1) and comprising a plurality of grooves (5) penetrating through the thickness thereof, the orthographic projection of the grooves (5) on the first base substrate (1) falling within the orthographic projection of the first electrode (3) on the first base substrate (1); a microstructure (6) located on the side of the second electrode (4) away from the first base substrate (1) and comprising a paper film microcavity (7) and a plurality of charged particles (8) located in the paper film microcavity (7), wherein the plurality of charged particles (8) comprises a plurality of first color charged particles (9) and a plurality of second color charged particles (10), and the electrical property of the first color charged particles (9) is opposite to that of the second color charged particles (10); and a third electrode (11) located on the side of the microstructure (6) away from the second electrode (4).
