Abstract:
[PROBLEMS] To output a correct sales account even when an electronic tag is attached to a collective commodity and to an individual commodity constituting it. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] A database which is consolidated includes: a commodity table containing data on a collective flag indicating whether a commodity code and a collective commodity or not; and a collective commodity table containing a commodity code of the collective commodity, a commodity code of the individual commodity constituting the collective commodity, and data on the number n of the contained pieces. A POS terminal increments the accumulated number Ni of the commodities for each of the commodity ID supplied (S4) and references the commodity table. If the supplied commodity ID is judged to be a collective commodity (S3, S5), the collective commodity table is referenced and for each of the individual commodities constituting the collective commodity, the accumulated number Nj is subtracted by the number nj of the individual commodities contained in the collective commodity (S6, S7). In response to the read end (S8, S9), the commodity identification code of the commodity whose number is not 0 and information on the number of pieces are outputted.
