Abstract:
An emitter according to the present disclosure comprises: a first and a second heater that each produce heat upon electrification; an electron source that emits electrons through heating by the first and the second heater and that is composed of a first material; and an intermediate member that is interposed between the first heater and the electron source, and between the second heater and the electron source, and that is made of a second material having a lower thermal conductivity than the first material.
