Abstract:
An endoscope cleaning apparatus which comprises a strong acid water vessel, a strong alkaline water vessel and a cleaning vessel in which an endoscope to be cleaned is disposed, wherein strong alkaline water is supplied first to the interior of the endoscope-held cleaning vessel and a hollow portion of the endoscope and retained as it is for a predetermined period of time, the strong alkaline water being thereafter discharged, the strong acid water being then supplied to the cleaning vessel and endoscope and retained as it is for a predetermined period of time, the strong acid water being thereafter discharged, the water being finally supplied to the cleaning vessel and endoscope and retained as it is for a predetermined period of time, the water being thereafter discharged.
