Abstract:
An endoscope cover having: a cylindrical cover main body attached to a tip-constituting section along the longitudinal axis of an insertion section, having an annular section covering part of the outer circumference of the tip-constituting section, and being attached separated from at least part of the tip-constituting section and having a gap therebetween; and a weak section having at least part thereof provided in the annular section of the cover main body, having less strength than other sites in the annular section, breaking as a result of stress being applied thereto, and being capable of making an operator aware that said weak section has been broken in conjunction with the gap in the tip-constituting section.
