Abstract:
Provided is an endoscope objective optical system having small size, good optical performance, and a bright F number. The present invention is characterized in that a negative first lens L1, a positive second meniscus lens L2 in which the convex face thereof is oriented toward the object side, an aperture diaphragm S, a biconvex third lens L3, and an overall positive cemented lens CL in which a biconvex fourth lens L4 and a negative fifth lens L5 are joined are arranged in this order from the object side, and conditional expressions (1) and (2) are satisfied. (1): -3 ≤ f1/Ih ≤ -1.2. (2): 0.25 ≤ L3_5/L ≤ 0.7. Here, f1 is the focal distance of the first lens L1, Ih is the maximum image height of the endoscope objective optical system, L3_5 is the distance from the object-side face of the third lens L3 to the image-side face of the fifth lens along the optical axis AX, and L is the distance from the object-side face of the first lens L1 to the image surface along the optical axis AX.
