Abstract:
An endoscope objective optical system is provided which has reduced total length, small outer diameter and excellent optical performance, and on which a focusing mechanism (a lens moving mechanism) can be mounted. In order from the object side, this endoscope objective optical system comprises a negative first group G1, a positive second group G2, and a positive third group G3, and shifts focus from a long-distance object to a near-distance object by moving the second group G2 from the object side towards the image side. The first group G1 comprises a negative lens L1, the second group G2 comprises a positive meniscus lens L2 with the convex surface facing the image side, and the third group G3 has, in order from the object side, a positive lens and a cemented lens CL1 comprising a positive lens L3 and a negative lens L4.
