Abstract:
Provided is an endoscope system that can obtain biological information more precisely. An endoscope system (10) comprises: a light source device (14) that illuminates an object; dichroic mirrors (31), (32) and (33) that disperse light reflected by the object into first blue light, second blue light, green light and red light; a CMOS sensor (41) that performs imaging of the first blue light, a CMOS sensor (42) that performs imaging of the second blue light, a CMOS sensor (43) that performs imaging of the green light, and a CMOS sensor (44) that performs imaging of the red light; a control unit (59) that controls imaging. The control unit (59) controls exposure periods for the CMOS sensors (41), (42), (43) and (44), each being controlled independently.
