Abstract:
An engagement and release device having a range of motion, and an angle grinder having same. The engagement and release device comprises a first movable device (7), a displacement buffer assembly, and a second movable device (10). The displacement buffer assembly is located between the first movable device (7) and the second movable device (10), and comprises a buffer cavity main body and a movable assembly. A buffer cavity is formed in the buffer cavity main body. In a non-operation state, the movable assembly blocks the buffer cavity of the displacement buffer assembly so as to prevent the first movable device (7) from moving downward. In an operation state, the movable assembly form a buffer path in the buffer cavity under the action of centrifugal force. The above arrangement prevents the first movable device (7) from exerting a force on the second movable device (10) during the whole operation process, thereby preventing a fastening device from loosening and causing harm during high-speed rotation.
