Abstract:
Provided is a β glucuronidase mutant suitable for the homogeneous immunoassay method. This β glucuronidase mutant is characterized in that methionine at position 516 in the amino acid sequence of β glucuronidase of E. coli is substituted with lysine, and tyrosine at position 517 is unsubstituted or substituted with an aromatic amino acid other than tyrosine.
