Abstract:

A system, equipment and means for realizing television services using internet protocols are provided. The detail of the subject is: UE sends a request to IPTV services sub-system during IMS conversation. Response to the request, IPTV services sub-system acquires content-describing information from content-describing function entity, and transmits content data from IMS to UE according to content-describing information. As the content-descibing entity is added to the system, content-describing information can be provided, then by using the content-describing information during IMS converation, IPTV services can be realized.
