Abstract:
The invention relates to an exoskeleton system comprising an exoskeletal load bearing structure consisting of a reference structure and at least one mechanical segment; means (11) for the acquisition of movements and movement wishes, consisting of means for measuring the effort arising from at least one biological segment as a function of time and means for detecting the direction of movements or movement wishes of said segments as a function of time; means (15) for the acquisition of the spatial position of the mechanical segments in relation to the reference structure; actuating means (19) ensuring the movement of said articulated mechanical segments: and control means (17) which are connected at an input to means for the acquisition of movements and positions and connected at an output to actuating means ensuring control thereof.
