Abstract:
The present invention pertains to a metal fastener (10) for securing a snap button (20) or a washer (30) to a fabric (fa, fb). The fastener (10) is constituted by a single component. The fastener (10) is provided with: a disk section (11); a post section (12) that extends from the disk section (11) to a back surface (11b) side of the disk section (11); and a peripheral section (13) that curves from a radially outer edge (11c) of the disk section (11) toward a front surface (11a) side or the back surface (11b) side of the disk section (11). The disk section (11) includes a decorative section (14). The decorative section (14) is disposed, with respect to the radial-direction distance (E) between the post section (12) and the radially outermost edge (11c) of the fastener (10), within a range (14e) that is separated by at least 15% of the distance (E) radially outward from the post section (12) and by at least 30% of the distance (E) radially inward from the radially outermost edge (11c) of the fastener (10).
