Abstract:
The present invention provides fastening aids (120) which are used when a reel (10) including a reel hub (12) around the outer periphery of which a recording tape (T) is wound is incorporated into a drive device (60) and the reel hub (12) is screwed and fastened to the rotating member (64) of the drive device (60). The fastening aids (120) are provided with a main body (122), a guiding cylinder (126) which projects from the bottom surface of the main body (122) coaxially with a plurality of guiding holes (122A) formed on the main body (122) and guides a screw (38) into a screw hole (40) formed on the reel hub (12), and a fitting portion (126A) which is formed at the lower end portion of the guiding cylinder (126) and is fitted to a fitting counterpart (41A) formed around the screw hole (40) of the reel hub (12). Thus, when the reel is being incorporated into the drive device, the reel can be reliably incorporated therein.
