Abstract:
In order to select feature quantities that are highly robust against jumps and outliers, this feature quantity selection device is provided with: an acquisition unit that acquires a plurality of data sets; a construction unit that changes the distribution of the data included in the data sets and thereby constructs a plurality of re-extracted data sets; an analysis unit that analyzes the plurality of re-extracted data sets using a Lasso regression method; a statistics unit that aggregates the values of the elements included in the plurality of re-extracted data sets according to the analysis results of the plurality of re-extracted data sets, and sets logical values to the elements included in the plurality of re-extracted data sets according to the aggregation results of the values of the elements; a selection unit that, according to a preset specification rule, selects a combination of feature quantities corresponding to the logical values set to the elements; and an output unit that outputs selection information relating to the selected combination of feature quantities.
